Congratulations to the 2008 Outstanding Intern/Resident Awardees

(Athens — 9/29/08) Eleven clinical instructors from CORE participating hospitals were honored with this year’s Outstanding Intern/Resident Faculty Award. Students from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and affiliated colleges of osteopathic medicine nominated the instructors from their hospitals.

            The chosen interns and residents provided enthusiastic and organized learning environments while acting as mentors for students. Criteria for the award include encouraging active participation, communicating effectively with students, showing interest in and listening to students, and portraying an optimistic and positive attitude.
