CORE Faculty

As a faculty researcher in the CORE system, we invite you to register in the CORE Research Database, so that we can properly track your project and adequately assist you in your research; by acting as a research mentor and placing a medical trainee on your project, you gain access to all of the support services offered by the CRO. All researchers must complete an IRB training course before they can engage in research that entails data collection. The Step-By-Step Checklist will lead you through these initial steps of the research process, the critical protocol development stage of your study, and on through to research dissemination.

If you do not yet have a fully developed research idea, Generating Research Ideas can help to focus your thoughts and can suggest avenues to help better define and refine those thoughts into a concise research question.

Finally, the Institutional Review Board of your CORE hospital will stand as your IRB of record; IRB Requirements will provide valuable information about how to navigate this crucial step in the research process.

As always, the CRO Staff stands ready to assist you at all points along the research continuum.
