CRO Objectives

Objectives of the CORE Research Office include, but are not limited to the following:

  • To function as a liaison between CORE researchers and respective hospital Institutional Review Boards (IRB);
  • To provide methodological and/or statistical services to all CORE members, upon request;
  • To promote research collaboration within the Osteopathic medical community through external publications, posters, consulting opportunities, conferences, committee work, and academic presentations;
  • To produce exemplar, user-friendly research training materials;
  • To maintain a searchable database for all CORE-initiated research efforts;
  • To maintain a secure and searchable filing system adequate for internal and external audits, production of funding reports, OPTI reports, and inspections;
  • To sustain e-access to CORE research materials and services;
  • To work in tandem with the CORE Research Committee to streamline the research process; and,
  • To design and implement a fiscally sound, long-term sustainability plan for the CORE Research Office.
