Additional Points of Interest about this CORE Site Hospital
Free food, which is excellent. Food Services does “theme” meals frequently, ie, Super Bowl, Valentines Day, etc. Pagers, lockers provided. Discounted Health Club membership. CORE office provides PDA software for all CORE students. Didactics include lectures on practice management, personal finance, and professional development. CORE office provides a picnic to welcome new students; and a night of laser tag to send off the Fourth Year students. The environment here is very congenial and family-like. You will be first assist on most rotations.

Information of Local Interest
Cuyahoga Falls is a charming community that derives its name from the Cuyahoga River, which winds its way through the downtown area. Located adjacent to Akron and only a short drive from Cleveland, Cuyahoga Falls offers cultural, recreational, and residential diversity. Schools are good.  C. Falls has numerous parks which have free wading pools, sports fields and play grounds.  There are a plethora of Metro parks in the surrounding area with hiking and biking trails, including winter sports such as skiing and tubing.  The Zoos are associated with the Metro parks too.  Weekends throughout the year have something going on at the Cuyahoga Falls River Front, from Santa Claus and ice skating in the winter to festivals, concerts and car shows during the summer and fall.  Located 5 minutes from major expressway; and 30 minutes from Akron Canton Airport or Cleveland Metropolitan Airport. CFalls is close to Akron U; Kent State; Case University. $500/month to rent one bedroom apt.; $600 average for two-bedroom apt; $800 to $900 for three- to four-bedroom house.
